The Eagles have signed seven of their practice squad players to reserve/futures contracts: T Brett Boyko, G Malcolm Bunche, LB Brandon Hepburn, WR Freddie Martino, Villanova alum RB Kevin Monangai (above), DT Travis Raciti, LB Deontae Skinner.
Basically, futures contracts allow teams to control the rights of players who weren’t on an active roster at the end of the season. The contracts don’t kick in until the league year begins on March 9.
