The Eagles signed Idaho DT Noah Elliss, a 6-4, 346-pound undrafted run-stopper who played in a COVID-19 shortened 2020 season with the Idaho Vandals, and returned in 2021 to total 46 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, and one sack.
His efforts in his final season were enough to be given an honorable mention as a member of the All-Big Sky team.
It’s apparent on Elliss’ tape that he was able to bully opposing offensive linemen during his time at Idaho, often overpowering them into their backfield.
His father, Luther Elliss, was a two-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle for the Lions. Elliss will undoubtedly face stiffer competition at the next level and will need to rely on more than brute strength to disrupt an offense.
