Eagles Supreme Leader Chip Kelly isn’t resting on his offseason laurels.
According to FoxSports.com, the Eagles will sign guard John Moffitt, a third-round pick of the Seattle Seahawks in 2011 who left the game late in the 2013 season before deciding recently to make a comeback.
Moffitt started 15 games for the Seahawks in 2011 and 2012 before being traded to Denver shortly before the 2013 season. He then announced his retirement before deciding recently to return to game.
Moffitt would compete for a starting slot created by the cutting of Evan Mathis.
