EAGLES REPORTEDLY KICKING JOE FLACCO’S WELL-WORN TIRES!

The word is that the Eagles have cooled on a possible trade for QB Deshaun Watson, given that the number of sexual assault lawsuits filed against him has reached an even dozen.

So, how will they fill their need to back up Jalen Hurts?

Pro Football Talk is reporting that former Ravens 2012 Supe-winning QB Joe Flacco will visit soon after he stops in with the Niners.

Flacco, who grew up in South Jersey and played at Delaware, would fit into that strategy as an experienced quarterback who can help Hurts in his first full year as a starter.

Flacco played a similar role for Sam Darnold with the Jets in 2020, although he wound up making four starts as the younger quarterback dealt with a shoulder injury.
