Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts is starting to feel his oats after 10 starts this year and four last season.
He led the Birds to a 30-13 win Sunday against the Broncs.
And Pro Football Focus has noticed:
Outside of an ill-advised, underthrown ball, Jalen Hurts commanded a great offensive attack.
He completed 69% of his passes for 178 yards and two touchdowns, with only 38% of his yards coming after the catch. Hurts’ outing was far different than Bridgewater’s, as both his touchdown passes and over half his yards came on passes beyond 10 yards.
Hurts also proved to be an issue running the ball. He handled 11 carries (excluding kneel-downs) for 50 yards, with two attempts gaining over 10 yards.
