Here’s the one thing Eagles fans must take away from the must-win at FedEx Field last Sunday in the Birds thrilling 37-27 win versus the Redskins:

Much-maligned QB Carson Wentz came through big time with 3 TD’s, one each to Miles Sanders, Zach Ertz, Greg Ward Jr. with seconds remaining to pull the victory out.

Ward made his first NFL TD count, hauling in a 4-yard pass from Wentz in the corner of the end zone. Instead of asking where Ward has been, the Eagles fans are glad he was in the end zone Sunday to keep the Birds playoff hopes alive!

Wentz went 30-43 for 266 yards, a QB rating of 109.3. They also gained 157 yards on the ground, Miles Sanders had his best day with 122 yards for a 6.4 average per pop!

The overall defense will need to be better next Sunday versus Dallas Cowboys for all the marbles in NFC East.

Both teams are 7-7 going into the crucial game that will most likely decide who goes to the playoffs, and who goes home resting for the 2020 season.

Dallas will come to the Linc next Sunday, December 22, 4:25pm/Fox
