The Eagles protected four practice squad players for Sunday’s game at the Saints: RB Jordan Howard, DB Elijah Riley, CB Kevon Seymour and LB Rashad Smith.
They also signed cornerback Lavert Hill to the practice squad.
A 5-10, 190-pound rookie out of Michigan, Hill originally signed with the Kansas City Chiefs following the 2020 NFL Draft. He was waived during the final roster cutdown, but returned as a member of the practice squad. Hill was released from the practice squad late last month to make room for former Eagles offensive lineman Stefen Wisniewski.
