Eagles running back Darren Sproles, who has played only four games the past two seasons, says he’s playing Monday night against the Redskins at the Linc.
Sproles practiced Thursday for the first time in memory after straining his hamstring in Week 1 and missing every game since, and again yesterday with no issues.
He expects to play Monday night.
“That’s the plan,” Sproles said.
Sproles wouldn’t go into details about his injury but said it wasn’t a normal hamstring injury, according to NBC Sports Philly.
In the season opener against Atlanta, Sproles had nine touches from scrimmage for 32 yards and added 29 yards on three punt returns.
