What with all the criticism of the Eagles offensive line’s performance in last Sunday’s debacle in DC, it’s nice to see that right guard Nate Herbig still has the coach’s confidence.
Doug Pederson confirmed yesterday that Herbig will continue as the starter at right guard against the Rams on Sunday.

Herbig is still only 22 years old and prior to starting at right guard next to rookie right tackle Jack Driscoll, the undrafted rookie had only logged three snaps prior to getting the opportunity.
He also has an avid supporter in Eagles offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland and with Lane Johnson returning at right tackle, the outcome should be more in line with what the Birds are used to.
