Eagles rookies are getting signed ahead of OTA’s that begin May 30th, also June 1-2, 5-6-7-8.
The 2023 team, which has been ranked No. 1 or No. 2 in the NFL, will be together for the first time.
OT Lane Johnson has been cleared after off-season surgery.
Two new coordinators will be taking on their new jobs with QB coach Brian Johnson being promoted to OC — he’s been with Jalen Hurts for a couple of years so it should go smooth with the promotion.
New defensive coordinator Sean Desai takes over the defense this year, and the hope is Desai can do better than departed Jonathan Gannon did.
Gannon was widely criticized for many lapses, including the 38 points given up in the Super Bowl last February.
All Eagles fans are looking forward to a much improved defense this new year.
“Everybody is connected. There’s a good connection in the locker room. I plan on making a big impact to the team and to the season early. And go back to the Super Bowl and win it this time.”
