EAGLES NATION HOLDS ITS BREATH ON LANE JOHNSON KNEE INJURY!

By Jack Ryan

That giant sucking sound you heard all over Philly last night was Eagles Nation holding its collective breath when right tackle Lane Johnson went down with an injury to his left leg on a two-point conversion in the first half.

After the game, Johnson said that he suffered an MCL sprain, an injury that sometimes takes a few weeks to heal. The good news, however, is that Johnson isn’t expected to miss that much time.

According to a person familiar with the situation who requested anonymity, Johnson is expected to be ready for the Eagles’ Week 1 game against the Atlanta Falcons. Even if he does play, however, Johnson’s health is worth monitoring.
