EAGLES NATION HOLDING ITS BREATH ON JASON PETERS’ CONDITION

By Jack Ryan

Eagles Nation is holding its breath about the physical condition of All-World left tackle Jason Peters.

With 5:21 remaining in the first quarter, Peters went down to the ground while blocking Jared Allen. After staying down on the field for a few minutes, Peters was carted off the field.

According to the Eagles, Peters injured his lower back, is undergoing X-rays, and is questionable to return to the game.

Peters is one of the most important players on the Eagles’ roster. He’s been to seven Pro Bowls and has anchored the left side of the offensive line since the 2009 season, when he came to Philly by way of Buffalo.
