EAGLES HIRE N. CAROLINA’S GUNTER BREWER AS WIDE RECEIVERS COACH!

By Harry Allison

The Eagles are hiring University of North Carolina wide receivers coach Gunter Brewer, multiple sources told Inside Carolina on today.

Brewer has accepted the Eagles wide receivers coach position which was created when they promoted Mike Groh to offensive coordinator last month.

The Columbus, Miss. native has coached a trio of Biletnikoff Award finalists – Randy Moss, Dez Bryant and Justin Blackmon – and has long been considered a top recruiter nationally.

He’s coached four of the top five wide receivers in career receptions at UNC. Ryan Switzer owns the school record with 244, followed by Quinshad Davis in second place (205), Jawarski Pollock in fourth (177) and Erik Highsmith in fifth (167).
