Forget the high-profile competition at quarterback going on in Eagles’ mini-camp.

The real scrum is on the offensive line, especially at guard, which was a disaster last season.

The team has signed right guard Brandon Brooks (above) and guard/center Stefen Wisniewski this offseason, and drafted do-it-all Isaac Seumalo from Oregon State.

The only spot up for grabs along the line is at left guard. Last year’s starter, Allen Barbre, has been penciled in as the starter by coach Doug Pederson, but will have to improve upon last year’s performance to retain that job.

Luckily for Barbre, he will not have much competition in the early parts of camp as Seumalo is stuck at OSU because of how classes are scheduled. But, by the time the regular season opens up, there could be a new name starting at the left guard position.
