NEW YORK GIANTS INJURY REPORT

The big news is that Golden Tate suffered a knee injury during yesterday’s practice. Tate was held out of the Giants’ Week 9 game for disciplinary reasons but he was set to return for the game against his previous team. Tate catch a touchdown pass against the Eagles back in Week 7 but it might not be so great if he’s missing. Giants rookie UDFA wide receiver Austin Mack made some nice plays against Washington in Tate’s absence last week.

Devonta Freeman reportedly suffered a “minor aggravation” of his ankle injury today. He still hopes to play this weekend but the Giants might have to roll with Wayne Gallman and Alfred Morris instead. Those two options have been more efficient than Freeman anyway.

No. 2 tight end Kaden Smith was upgraded from limited to full. He’s on track to play this weekend.

LIMITED PARTICIPATION

RB Devonta Freeman (ankle)
WR Sterling Shepard (toe/hip)
WR Golden Tate (knee)

FULL PARTICIPATION

DB Logan Ryan (not injury related)
TE Kaden Smith (concussion)
DT Leonard Williams (not injury related)
