EAGLES MATTHEWS, CARROLL BACK AT PRACTICE, ERTZ IS OUT

By Susan Harrison

There was good news on the Eagles practice front today:

Although tight end Zach Ertz was absent with a hammy, wide receiver Jordan Matthews (above) was back at practice after missing yesterday’s session with back spasms.

Cornerback Nolan Carroll was also out on the field with a helmet and taking part in drills, a sign that he has cleared the NFL’s concussion protocol and should be able to play this Sunday.

Carroll suffered the concussion in the team’s win over the Atlanta Falcons this past Sunday.
