The Eagles have placed Alshon Jeffery on the PUP list, per the Inky.

Jeffery has been rehabbing from a Lisfranc injury that sidelined him for six games in 2019. Over a month ago, Doug Pederson, despite the progress Jeffery has made, shared that it was unknown when the veteran wideout could return to the field.

In the 2020 NFL Draft, the Eagles added Jalen Reagor, John Hightower, and Quez Watkins. Also, Philly acquired Marquise Goodwin in a trade with the San Francisco 49ers. However, Goodwin has opted-out for the 2020 season due to concerns for his family.

Throughout the past year, Jeffery’s future with the Eagles has been a topic of conversation. Regardless of Jeffery’s injury concerns, he’s still set to carry a $15.3 million cap hit in 2020. And he’s also currently slated to carry an $18.4 million cap hit in 2021.

Both Pederson and GM Howie Roseman have exclaimed that Jeffery could be an important piece for the team in the upcoming season. Although, before he returns to the field, he’ll need to show that he’s one-hundred percent healthy from his Lisfranc injury.
