It won;t be long before Eagles fans see their starting inside linebackers on the practice field.

Kiko Alonso (above) has been cleared to return to action after missing the last two weeks because of a concussion. Alonso took part in today’s short practice and coach Chip Kelly said he hoped to have Alonso back to a full workload by the end of the week.

“We’ll ease him back in,” Kelly said. “He’s missed a few days. So he won’t go through the full practice. He’ll start going through the agility [drills] and stuff like that. I think mentally he’s good, but he has been out for two weeks. So he’ll go through agility drills and maybe a little 7-on-7. I don’t know if they’re going to put him in team [11-on-11]. He should be good to go by the end of the week.”

Alonso, Mychal Kendricks and DeMeco Ryans all missed Sunday’s game against the Colts.

Kendricks practiced today and Kelly said that Ryans, who is returning from a torn Achilles, would work on Wednesday when the Ravens arrive for joint practices.

Quarterback Sam Bradford and running back DeMarco Murray are also “full-go” for the practices with the Ravens after sitting out on Sunday, which leaves the Eagles with pretty close to a full hand for their second preseason contest.
