The Eagles are back at NovaCare after yesterday’s bye, and they are making news:
The 21-day practice window is now open for starting left guard Isaac Seumalo, who suffered a knee injury in the Week 2 home opener against the Los Angeles Rams.
The Eagles can put Seumalo on the active roster at any point during this three-week span.
There are currently two open roster spots after the team waived tight end Jason Croom and placed safety Marcus Epps on the Reserve/COVID-19 list last week.
Seumalo’s injury forced the Eagles to use seven different offensive line combinations in the first eight games of 2020.
A third-round pick in 2016, Seumalo took over as a starter in 2018 and signed a contract extension in the 2019 offseason. He played 99 percent of the snaps on offense last year. A fixture now at left guard, Seumalo has also started games at right guard and right tackle.
