EAGLES LANE JOHNSON’S DECADE: A GREAT PLAYER AND PHILLY CITIZEN!

By Art Beitchman

Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson is starting his 10th season this week with the club, as the 4th pick overall in the 2013 NFL draft.

Johnson has had a stellar career in Midnight Green, anchoring one of the best offensive lines in football, leading the Eagles to the 2018 Super Bowl 52 victory.

Johnson does much more for his adopted home; this Texas native gives a hefty sum of his large paycheck to Philabundance every year, helping many in this area eat healthy meals they would otherwise go without.

Very noble of this giant but bighearted Bird.

Recently Johnson has spoken about mental health issues he had a year ago that caused him to miss a couple of games.

But now he freely speaks about it, as he did last week at the Margate NJ JCC, telling all you can overcome these issues by confronting them,

Lane Johnson is much more than a great football player, but a great guy in the community that Eagles fans can be proud of.
