Sort of lost in Carson Wentz’s performance last week against the Browns was a brief display of explosiveness by Kenjon Barner, who is finally getting the opportunity to showcase his playmaking ability as the change of pace back for the Eagles.
True, Barner only carried the football four times against the Browns. He was certain to make those carries count, averaging 10.5 yards per carry.
Doug Pederson used two designed plays to take advantage of his ability to turn the corner.
Look for Barner to continue his burning Monday night in Chicago!
