EAGLES’ JASON PETERS PRACTICED TODAY; BYRON MAXWELL DID NOT

By Jack Ryan

The Eagles returned to practice today in preparation for their meaningless season-ending game Sunday against the New York Giants.

Left tackle Jason Peters (above) practiced, but cornerbacks Byron Maxwell and Jaylen Watkins were both sidelined with injuries, as were Bennie Logan and Seyi Ajirotutu.

If Maxwell and Watkins are both unavailable on Sunday, rookie Denzel Rice would likely see his first action of the season.

Logan remained out with a calf injury that caused him to miss Saturday’s game. He’s considered day-to-day, but Beau Allen might be set to make his second start at nose tackle.
