The Eagles quick start to the 2022 season should not be that much of a surprise with the great draft and offseason acquisitions made.
Jalen Hurts is playing lights out his first two games, throwing for 576 yards at a 69.8% clip, a QB rating of 97.1.
But the play caller has flown under the radar.
Offensive coordinator Shane Steichen took over last season and has been doing a very good job as the Birds have gone 10-3 since that change.
Blending the run and pass has worked out fine, behind a powerful offensive line — scoring points has not been a problem this year.
Also, a much deeper roster has given the Eagles a much more potent offense.
This Sunday they take on the newly named Washington Commanders at 1pm on Fox-29, the Birds are -6, favored for the 3rd time this year.
