If you think Eagles big big boss Howie Boy Roseman is thinking about trading the 8th pick in next month’s draft after trading the No. 13 pick, think again.
“In the past few drafts,” Roseman told MMQB, “often we’d be picking lower in the first round, and we’d just miss out on a guy we had targeted. This year we felt there was a big dropoff after 10 players, so I talked to people about trying to move into the top 10.”
The eighth selection is the highest the Eagles have picked since choosing Lane Johnson with the No. 4 overall pick.
