EAGLES HEADS WILL ROLL: DUCE STALEY FOR COACH, LOUIS RIDDICK GM!

By Art Beitchman

Beating the Seattle Seahawks in Philly has become tougher and tougher for the Eagles.

In fact, it hasn’t happened in 31 years, the 1989 season opener, on a nice, warm late-summer day.

I remember it well as I with some buddies watching at Veterans Stadium as the Birds took apart the Hawks’ 31-7. Eagles LB Seth Joyner played in that game, as he reminded us on Monday night’s post-game show!

Thirty-one years later it’s quite a different story.

National broadcasters mocking the Eagles as they lost 23-17, burying Carson Wentz, who was talked about like a broken horse wandering on the range! What!!!

If this travesty continues heads might start rolling before the 16th game is played. It’s that dire a situation.

Here are a couple of scenarios:

Coach Doug Pederson fired, Duce Staley given the chance to finish the season as an audition.

Louis Riddick, the game color commentator on ESPN’s broadcast, appeared to be lobbying for the GM job in the booth, and he could be in line. He’s a former NFL player and Eagles executive from Quakertown. Would jump to be Eagles next man in charge.

Eric Bienemy, current Chiefs offensive coordinator has been a head coaching candidate for a couple years now.

There needs to be a shakeup of this current team, might as well start early, in the meantime the Eagles will travel to Green Bay next Sunday, December 6, to take on the Packers–4:25pm/CBS
