Jalen Hurts completed 15-of-25 passes for 121 yards in the Eagles’ 31-7, NFC Championship Game win over the 49ers, adding 11 carries for 39 additional yards and a touchdown.
Hurts struggled as a thrower against the 49ers’ alleged elite defense, especially deep, where he missed a number of wide-open pass catchers.

San Francisco couldn’t punch back thanks to injuries to both Brock Purdy and Josh Johnson.
The best news for Eagles fans is that a quarterback who still isn’t fully recovered from his shoulder injury now has two weeks to heal up for Super Bowl LVII against either the Chiefs or Eagles.
