You might have missed it if you turned on the Eagles-Packers game late, but the Birds’ first-team defense did a fine job.
The Packers didn’t play All-Pro quarterback Aaron Rodgers or Pro Bowl wide receiver Jordy Nelson, but the Eagles defense shut down Brett Hundley and Ty Montgomery.
Not only did the Eagles starters leave the field after keeping the Packers off the scoreboard, but Fletcher Cox (above), Patrick Robinson, Brandon Graham, and Co. also forced a fumble by recovering a Montgomery fumble.
