EAGLES ERTZ WILL PLAY SUNDAY, MCKELVIN PRACTICED TOO

By Michael Donovan

There’s good news emanating from the NovaCare complex.

Rehabbing Zach Ertz (above) and Leodis McKelvin, who missed the last two games, practiced today.

“I feel great. I got an MRI (this morning). They saw what they needed to see,” said Ertz, who had a dislocated rib. “I’m very excited. We took our time with it, being very cautious with everything. But now I’m at where I need to be, and I’m very excited for this week.”

Ertz was a full participant in today’s practice, which was light, but said he plans to be a full-go all week, and should play against the Detroit Lions at Ford Field.

“I’m for sure playing,” Ertz said. “With the bye week being when it (was), it was very helpful for me.”
