The Chargers may make a likely landing spot for Eagles tight end Zach Ertz, says NJ.com’s Michael Kaye.
Ertz didn’t attend the voluntary offseason workouts last week, and will almost certainly play elsewhere in 2021.
It would send Ertz to the AFC and to his home state of California, and the Eagles could probably get a late-round draft pick in exchange for Ertz, 30, whose 2021 cap hit is $12.72 million.
LA has almost $20 million in cap space.
Dallas Goedert would likely see an uptick in targets with Ertz gone. The Eagles play the Chargers in Week 9.
