So, Eagles cornerback Ronald Darby is back at practice a lot sooner than anyone would have thought after he dislocated his ankle in Week 1 against the Redskins.
His chances of playing Monday night in the rematch are slim, but…
“Compared in that moment what you feel, for him to be back out there at all and have the possibility to get him back is great because I think at first glance everybody thought he was probably done for the season,” said Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins.
Added safety Rodney McLeod: “That dislocated ankle, you would think he would never return, but you have to credit his hard work, the trainers getting him ready. Hopefully, we’ll see him the next couple weeks. I don’t know what the timetable is, but it looks good.”
“Obviously, whenever he is 100 percent, he’s going to instantly make our defense better,” said Jenkins.
