Michael, 42, spent the past two seasons with Eagles new head coach Nick Sirianni and passing game coordinator Kevin Patullo. The team has also hired coordinator Shane Steichen and quarterbacks coach Brian Johnson on offense.
Michael has coached for seven NFL teams, mostly in the capacity of tight ends coach. He served as the Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator from 2014-15 before being demoted to QBs coach (2016-17) for the organization.
In Philly Michael will oversee a depth chart headlined by Dallas Goedert. Zach Ertz is on the trade block after demanding a new contract last season.
