EAGLE CARROLL WANTS TO WIPE AWAY THANKSGIVING NIGHTMARE!

Nolan Carroll, the Eagles’ veteran cornerback, was having his finest NFL season a year ago as he approached free agent status, and then it happened. In the Eagles’ 45-14 Thanksgiving Day blowout loss to the Detroit Lions, Carroll suffered a broken fibula that not only ended his season, but short-circuited his value on the free agent market.

With limited interest — there was a modest offer from the Cowboys — he returned to the Eagles on a one-year deal worth just over $2 million. Had he stayed healthy he would have been in for a really big payday:
