The Eagles did what they needed to do at Ford Field Sunday to the soon to be 0-8 Detroit Lions.
They beat their backs in for 60 minutes, playing a complete game on both sides of the ball, and possibly saving their coach Captain Top Soil his job after a rocky October.
How did they do it?
They finally rushed the football for 236 yards behind solid offensive line play, shoving the Lions down the field for 4 quarters.
When asked after throwing the ball just 14 times, Eagles QB Jalen Hurts shot back by saying, “I’m OK with winning”
So are Eagles fans.
Next game at home versus the 4-3 Los Angeles Chargers.
The Birds can prove they can beat a winning team and turn this season around.
