EAGLES LATEST: JENKINS OUT WITH CONCUSSION; PETERS AT PRACTICE

By Michael Donovan

Eagles coach Chip Kelly dropped a bombshell at this morning’s presser:

Safety Malcolm Jenkins (above) suffered a concussion on Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys and is going through the league-mandated protocol.

Jenkins sat out today’s practice, but Kelly says he’s expected back Thursday.

“He’s just going through the tests right now,” Kelly said.

Returning to practice for the Eagles on Wednesday was left tackle Jason Peters, who sat out the Cowboys’ game with a back injury.

“Jason will be back out there,” Kelly said.

Wide receivers Nelson Agholor (ankle) and Riley Cooper (foot) were also back on the practice fields, Wednesday afternoon as was linebacker DeMeco Ryans (hamstring).
