Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn described Micah Parsons switching from linebacker to defensive end.

“This week.”

Quinn is ready to put Parsons’ hand on the ground every play and having him rush off the edge. And it’s not because he didn’t like the way his rookie played in his last-second switch to end.

“I thought he did a good job,” Quinn said. “That will continue to be a part of what he does. But there’s also some really good linebacker things that he does. So we’re going to make sure we don’t overload him but give him the right amount. He was definitely chomping at the bit to do more in the game.”

The Cowboys are expected to get defensive end Randy Gregory back off the COVID-19 list in time for him to play before next Monday’s game with the Eagles.
