Howie Boy Roseman has a big dilemma with Eagles all-around star Darren Sproles, who is a free agent.
Sproles will count $4.5 million against the cap if the Eagles keep him, but cost only $1 million in dead money if you cut him — the final pro-rated third of his original $3 million signing bonus in 2014.
But Sproles is too valuable to get rid of. He can change the course of a game — or a season — with his remarkable punt return ability, and he’s still effective on offense.
