The 37-10 beating the Eagles took at the hands of the Dallas Cowboys last Sunday night was actually worse than it looked.
The Birds were fighting for 1st place in the NFC East, and it was a total mismatch from beginning to end:
Four turnovers, including three fumbles lost, turned into easy Cowboys scores. At times it appeared the Eagles didn’t even show up for a game that had giant significance. Dallas did show up and beat the Eagles backs in for 60 minutes: a shocking effort for the men in Green!
The Cowboys beat the Birds in every facet of football — they passed better, ran the ball better, played better pass defense, run defense, anything else?
Eagles fans got to hope this was just one game, but the blowout the week before in Minnesota tells a different story. The Birds are not who we thought they would be, plain and simple!
They get to prove everybody wrong as they travel to Buffalo next Sunday, October 27th to take on the 5-1 Bills, 1pm/Fox
