EAGLES AT 4-5 STILL HAVE A 20% CHANCE OF MAKING THE PLAYOFFS!

Says the New York Times’ computer:

20 percent chance to make playoffs

In their Super Bowl season, the Eagles pressured teams by scoring early and often, ranking third in points tallied both in the first quarter and the first half, according to Pro Football Reference. Through their first nine games, the Eagles have scored in the first quarter only twice — 7 against Indianapolis in Week 3 and 14 against the Giants in Week 6. Their 21 first-quarter points are the fewest in the N.F.L.

Crucial game: Technically, the Eagles have a chance to defend their title until they’re eliminated from contention. Realistically, that chance evaporates if they lose at Dallas, which beat Philly last week, in Week 14:
