The Eagles signed tight end Richard Rodgers (above right with Dallas Goedert) today and released tackle Casey Tucker.
They also activated the 21-day practice window for tight end Tyree Jackson and safety K’Von Wallace, who are currently on Injured Reserve.
Jackson, the quarterback-to-tight end convert, suffered a back injury in training camp.
Wallace suffered a shoulder injury in the Week 3 game at Dallas.
The 6-4, 257-pound Rodgers has been with the Eagles since the 2018 season, playing in 21 games. He was effective for the Eagles last season playing in 13 games, with four starts, and recording 25 receptions for 352 yards and two touchdowns.
Rodgers was with the Eagles in this year’s Training Camp before being released during the final roster cutdown. Rodgers is the second tight end on the practice squad along with Noah Togiai.
