EAGLES ACTIVATE ZACH ERTZ, ARCEGA-WHITESIDE, PLACE JOHNSON ON IR

By Jerry Wein

The Eagles have activated tight end Zach Ertz off Injured Reserve and wide receiver JJ Arcega-Whiteside off the COVID-19 list while placing LT Lane Johnson on IR.

Ertz returned to practice last week after an ankle injury against Baltimore on October 18 and missed the past five games. The team’s leading receiver in each of the past four seasons, Ertz has 24 receptions for 178 yards, and a touchdown this season.

Arega-Whiteside has missed the past two games. He was inactive for the game prior to landing on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. Arcega-Whiteside has two catches for 45 yards in 100 offensive snaps in 2020. He scored a touchdown on a fumble recovery against the Ravens.

Johnson’s season is over due to a lingering ankle injury. He said that he will undergo surgery later this month.
