After going 2-5 as Eagles rookie head coach last season, Nick Sirianni should have been feeling the heat.
Instead, he gave a “watering the flowers” rant at his presser following the Birds 5th loss.
Everyone there thought he was loony with this having to wait for growth analysis.
Most fans believed we were in for a rocky tenure with the new coach.
Then the Eagles started winning.
Since that day the Eagles are 23-7.
They made the playoffs last season, then followed it up going 14-3 record with the No. 1 seed, winning two home playoff games with Super Bowl to be played tonight against the Kansas City Chiefs.
It looks like Sirianni knew what he was talking about with the Birds having a chance to lift the Lombardi trophy tonight for the second time in five years.
And go 24-7 since “watering the flowers”!
Did Nick Sirianni beat the Coach of the Year three (3) times this season?
