EAGLES 2-0, HURTS 16-1 LAST 2 SEASONS: WHERE’S THEIR RESPECT?

By Art Beitchman

The Eagles have started off the new season 2-0 after beating the Vikings 34-28 Thursday night.

QB Jalen Hurts has been criticized for not looking quite the same as a year ago.

But reality sets in when the stats the last two seasons has him 16-1.

Not bad, in fact most NFL QB’s would be thrilled with that production.

Newly acquired running back D’andre Swift went off for 175 yards in the Vikings game, the best output for an Eagle ball carrier since Shady McCoy ran for 217 yards in the “Snow Bowl” versus the Lions in 2013.

It’s a new year but the roster is still deep and talented to make another Super Bowl run this season.
