Many members of Eagles Nation were surprised when Supreme Leader Chip Kelly offered outside linebacker Brandon Graham, the Birds’ first round pick in 2010, a new contract.
Well, wait till you seem on the field this fall.
You might not recognize him.
Graham has been attacking the offseason harder than ever. According to a post from his Instagram page, he’s lost some weight (a combined 25 pounds between him and his wife):
“Thank you @leanmeals_la for helping me @teamgraham_llc drop a total of 25lbs together during this off season. Looking forward to working with you in the future. Now I can get back to Philly & really get to work. #Eagles”
But that didn’t happen. Instead, the Eagles offered Graham a long-term contract to be one of their two starting outside linebackers. Graham has excelled in limited playing time while coming off the bench but now he’ll be full on replacing Trent Cole.
