DOC RIVERS DOESN’T THINK SIXERS SHOULD BE PLAYING TODAY!

“I don’t think we should [play], but it’s not for me to express that,” Rivers said, when asked whether he believed the game should be played. “I do worry about our player health on the floor.”

ESPN reported earlier that the game would be able to go on. This after the Sixers had eight players in the NBA’s health and safety protocols Friday in the wake of guard Seth Curry testing positive for COVID-19 the day before in the middle of their game in Brooklyn. Three of those players in the protocols for potential close contact with Curry — Joel Embiid, Danny Green and rookie Paul Reed — were cleared from having to quarantine.
