You know you are an out of touch NFL owner when you compare the value of a stolen Tom Brady jersey to that of a great master painting!

No progress has been made in recovering the uniform worn by the Patriots quarterback worn during Super Bowl 51, and team owner Robert Kraft wants it to be returned.

“It’s very sad to me that someone would do something like this, and it’s like taking a great Chagall or Picasso or something,” Kraft said yesterday on Fox Business Network’s “Mornings with Maria.”

“You can never display it [if you took it]. And somehow, I feel there’ll be some news that’ll clear this up in the not-too-distant future. … I hope it’ll be cleared up soon. I think that a lot of people spent a lot of time looking into the matter and what happened, and I’d rather not say anything that would cause any problems in the work that’s been done.”

Some ridiculous valuations have come in around $500,000, but it’s an interesting stretch for Kraft to compare the stolen jersey to some of history’s most priceless works.
