De’Anthony Melton played 27 minutes in Sunday’s Sixers win over Brooklyn, scoring 21 points (8-of-10 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), including five rebounds, one assist, three steals, and four 3-pointers.
With Kelly Oubre (ribs) sidelined, Melton has taken advantage of the increased opportunities, providing top 50 per-game value.
During this run, his usage has been 19.1, more than two percentage points higher than his mark for the season (16.9). Melton is capable of being a top 100 player for the entire season, as he was in 2022-23, and this recent run could be the catalyst that ensures he makes it happen.
