DAK AND DREADED COWBOYS REACH A DEAL: 4 YEARS, $160 MILLION!

By Mark Gallagher

As the Eagles figure out if Jalen Hurts is their quarterback of the future or even the present, their despised NFC East rivals have made some news.

Quarterback Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys reached an agreement late yesterday on a contract that will pay Prescott about $160 million over the next four seasons.

The talks between the two sides have been never-ending over the past two seasons and off-seasons, and were complicated by the broken ankle Prescott suffered in 2020.

Prescott, 27, becomes one of the NFL’s highest-paid players and preserved his eligibility to hit the free agent market in four years, when he still will be in the prime of his career.

The Cowboy will provide further details Wednesday.
