D-JAX OUT 2 WEEKS WITH SHOULDER SEPARATED BY BLOCKING SLED

By Barbara Harrison

Former Eagle wide receiver DeSean Jackson has been blowing his own horn about how no NFL defender can stop him.

I guess that didn’t include a blocking sled.

Redskins receiver DeSean Jackson suffered a Grade 2 separation of his right shoulder Thursday and is likely to be sidelined for a couple of weeks.

Cornerback DeAngelo Hall also left the joint practice in Richmond, Va., against the Houston Texans early with a groin injury but it didn’t appear to be serious. Hall is expected to be sidelined for a week, according to a source.

Jackson suffered an injury to his right shoulder at the end of a one-on-one drill; he had caught a pass and hit the ground and then slid into a sled. He lay on the ground for a couple of minutes before walking off on his own power, grimacing. But he remained on the sidelines with his right shoulder wrapped.
