So, it looks like Johnny Manziel is done with the Browns after two years in Cleveland.
And he is poised to become to this off-season what Eagles wannabe Tim Tebow was to the last off-season:
A great story about a back-up quarterback who will never make it in the NFL.
All signs point to Jerry Jones and the Cowboys entering the conversation.
So is Cowboys fan Chris Christie (above with Jones), but he’s getting to his feet for an entirely different reason — to prevent Manziel from ever reaching Dallas. The governor of New Jersey and Republican presidential candidate dislikes the idea so much that he’s at least metaphorically willing to put his life on the line.
“I will throw my body in front of the Johnny Manziel train if it heads towards Dallas,” Christie told the Hugh Hewitt radio show, via the Dallas Morning News.
