Luke Palladino and VFCR’s chief marketing officer Jennifer Galle are happy new partners.

You knew it was just a matter of time before Cool Hand Luke Palladino again felt the pull of the area’s gaming market.

And Valley Forge Casino Resort is the beneficiary, with Palladino’s LP Steak debuting at VFCR in October.

Work for the restaurant will begin on Sept. 1 in the space occupied by Pacific Prime. The steakhouse is just one of two concepts he plans on opening in the casino.

This isn’t Palladino’s first foray into the casino business. He opened three restaurants simultaneously inside the Borgata Casino & Spa in 2003 and a restaurant in the now-defunct Revel Casino Hotel.

“People from Pennsylvania used to go to Atlantic City,” Palladino told the Philadelphia Business Journal. “They’re going to Valley Forge now because of what they’ve done to the property. Their base clients have already been my clientele for many years prior. People are familiar with my name and the quality of the food and what we do. There’s a level of association and excitement.”
